The HealthQuest Subscription on-line version of The National Managed Care Leadership Directory contains two types of searches: By Company or By Individual. 

The "By Company" search allows you to search for Companies by Company Name; Company Type;  Parent Company; State or Zip Prefix   You can search by any combination of these criteria. Company Types include Care Management; Health Plan; PBM; Provider Network; and Specialty Organization. The Zip Prefix involves the first two digits of the company Zip Code. The Search results will list companies meeting the search criteria, and you can then link to a desired company to review the full company listing including contact information and all applicable executives by job function.

The 'By Individual: search allows you to search for Individuals by Last Name; Job Type;  Parent Company; State, Zip Prefix or  Plan Size. You can search by any combination of these criteria. There are over 30 standardized Job Type categories to select from.  The Plan Size search allows you to include the plan membership size in your search criteria, and you can specify to search for plan greater than or less than a specific plan size, or for plans within a range in membership size.

For "By Company" searches by Company Name, and for "By Individual" searches by Last Name, you enter in some or all of the name, and you select if the search "Begins With" or just "Contains" the text you entered.

The individuals listed for each organization are those with decision-making authority in various functions of the company. 35 key functions were identified which apply to many managed care organizations. Each company was invited to list the names of executives in each of the categories applicable to their organization.  In some cases, names are duplicated to indicate that an individual is the key decision maker for each of the functions in which he or she is listed. In addition to the general functional descriptions, the specific titles of executives are listed when provided by their organizations.
